  Marina del Rey Station and the Community Safety Center offers free vacation security checks for residents. While you're away, a deputy or Volunteer on Patrol will check your home for broken windows, open doors or other suspicious clues.

   Check to see if registered sex offenders live in your neighborhood. Access is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
     
   
   
starExplorer Program:
  The Explorer Program is designed for young adults from 15 to 21. They go through a academy type training program that is geared to law enforcement. They can assist at the station and get to ride-a-long with deputies in the field. The program shows the young adults what the department and law enforcement is about and the rewards of a career in this field.
