By the way, as you can see by the map, Region I covers a lot of territory. Some of it is still wide open spaces of oak woodland and Mojave Desert, but Santa Clarita, Palmdale and Lancaster are seeing plenty of population growth! Our stations cover mountains, Pacific beaches in Malibu and lots of attractive, suburban communities; some very interesting and diverse places to do police work.
