The Homicide Bureau is responsible for the investigation of
all Homicides.

deaths include suicides, accidental deaths, drug overdoses,
and infants.

are asked by some police agencies to investigate their homicides
within LA County.

investigators are frequently contacted by agencies outside
the State for advice.
