Welcome to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department
Men's Central Jail (MCJ) website.

Men's Central Jail plays a large role in the community. Housing about 5,000 inmates from all around Los Angeles County, MCJ is the largest jail in the world. Not only does MCJ provide custody services for the county, we strive to better the community through outreach programs.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, along with 35 different agencies, have joined with Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit agency offering a free tip line to the community. All individuals who reach out
remain anonymous. Cash rewards may be provided to those individuals whose tip leads to an arrest.

The Los Angeles Regional CRIME STOPPERS program can be accessed in three ways:
